About the role
As a Data Engineer at Cleversight, you will design and develop complete data housing solutions. You are responsible for setting up scalable data warehouses and/or data lakes for our clients, working with data that is already made available through our own SaaS integration platform.
You will collaborate closely with BI consultants and clients to define the datasets required for dashboards and reports, translating functional requirements into robust technical solutions. You ensure that data models are correct, pipelines run smoothly, and information is reliable and usable.
Your responsibilities include, among others:
- Designing and developing data architectures and pipelines;
- Modeling data in cloud environments such as Azure, Fabric, and Databricks;
- Aligning with BI consultants and clients on data requirements;
- Collaborating with the integration team that unlocks raw source data via our integration platform;
- Delivering scalable, secure, and well-documented data solutions;
- Identifying opportunities for technical and process improvements and contributing to innovation within the team.

What we expect from you
- You have a passion for data, BI, and building scalable solutions;
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and have at least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer;
- You have strong experience with data warehousing, ETL, and data modeling in cloud environments such as Azure, Fabric, and Databricks;
- You are proficient in Python (including notebooks), Spark (PySpark / Spark SQL), and modern data stacks;
- You design and implement efficient, secure, and future-proof data solutions;
- You communicate fluently in both Dutch and English and can easily bridge the gap between technology and business;
- Microsoft certifications (Data Engineering / Analytics) are a plus.
